Low-impact exercise is any weight-bearing activity that involves at least one foot on the ground at all times. In this workout various options for intensity are given, but because it is low impact the risk for injuries are minimized. It is a safe workout option that can improve bone density for individuals who may have or are a risk for osteoporosis or breaking a bone. Modifications are offered, but don't be deceived by the words low intensity. This workout is not easy!
